Granola bars

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Other topping ideas: Coconut, Mini Chips, Craisins, Raisins, Sunflower Seed Kernals, Peanut Butter.

I have tried adding Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter Chips with the Semi Sweet Mini Chips. Also Chocolate Mini Chips and about 1/2 Cup Coconut. Sunflower Seeds. Instead of Raisins I used Currents they were smaller and almost looked like mini chips. This Recipe is Super Easy!

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease Cookie Sheet.

In a large bowl, mix together the oats, sweetened condensed milk, butter until well blended. Add desired mix-ins. Press flat into the prepared pan. ( I use a large buttered cookie sheet. I press the mixture and mold it into about the same size as a 9 x 13 in pan. Easier to work with if you wet your hands a bit)

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, depending on how crunchy you want them. Lightly browned just around the edges will give you moist, chewy bars. Let cool for 5 minutes, cut into squares (pizza cutter works well) Remove from pan. Let cool. I like to keep mine in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!
